On celebrating Birthdays and Anniversaries
Life !
This progression of moments strung together like a necklace of beads - connected - it starts from a clasp and having gone full circle returns to it
Years are measured on every pass of the clasp till , due to a break somewhere , we don't return .
Every time we pass that point of connection we celebrate and review the path trodden and the way ahead . It's the date of commencement of yet another leg of the journey for which we are given a cheering start by well wishers and friends and the race recommences.
It's the New Year !
Yes it is a special day for rejoicing and offering Thanksgiving for renewed opportunity .
It should always be made memorable !
