Importance of Blemishes

 In any Person, Place or Thing,pristine perfection is so taken for granted that it rarely evinces any comment. People pass by without much ado.Breathing in a satisfied manner.

You can do things right continuously and nary a murmur occurs but the moment a blemish appears all conversations start . 

A blank canvas hangs in the gallery for ages but when a spot of natural soot or dirt attaches itself a Legion of critics takes birth and pages of criticism get written. All wise persons emerge and the deafening conversations dim out the values of the original.

Is criticism the best form of getting attention or the act of praising the original goodness ?

To my mind the latter should take precedence over the former .
