without losing one’s balance




What Makes Us Tick ?

What is it that motivates us ?/ Mobilizes our zeal and fervour
Is it  reprimand or reward / Or the pleasure of being a server !


Do we look for Authority ? To control all around us
Or seek Pride and Happiness / Of Responsibility and Trust


Do we mask Mediocrity /With  Excuses and Explanations
Or  do we display our Genius /In inimitable fashion

Do we play to the Gallery/ Always searching for Applause
Or do we quietly do our thing / And wait for things to come

Criticism, Praise , Punishment
l Occasions of praise should be JUST THAT do not insert any  “buts”
l If people are not told they are appreciated they will assume the opposite
l Stopping problem behaviour does not automatically mean the right one will take its place. When you punish a wrong ensure it is immediately replaced by the one you want and then reinforced
Dealing with Individuals
Help people reach their full potential- catch them doing something right.
Everyone is a potential winner- Some people are disguised as losers-don’t let their appearances fool you.
