It's not surprising that we Indians are a people who successfully churn out filmy dance drama in real and reel life. We are the essential 'draaamebaj ' masters of the ' mise - en - scene '
It's in our blood as a nation.......
See the great stories and events our forefathers created in the hoary past complete with screenplay , dialogues, music ...the complete and also the political entertainment..still running to packed houses built around days marking certain positions of the sun , moon and planets and marked in the calendar as Holi , Diwali ,Dussera , Durga Puja , Mahashivratri and 100s of others ( not to forget Rakhi and Bhai Dooj )
Every tradition in the world has their own but in lesser number.
They ( the scenarists of yore ) knew how to keep a fearful and under-entertained society busy !
Interestingly ,almost in every family, there is found at least one person in each generation who knows the intricacies of the ritual and thus the tradition has been sustained over the centuries.
What a wonderful world we live in .
