Have you ever passed the site of a horrendous road accident minutes after it has happened and realised you could have been part of it if it wasn't because of
the jammed door lock
or the phone call on your landline just as you were stepping out
or that obstinate tie which was refusing to knot correctly
or even that collar button that was being difficult
or the neighbour who way laid you as you were going out of the building insisting on talking to you
or the car ignition that refused to fire ( today of all days )
Do you then regret all the curses and abuses you rained down on there innocent events ?
They possibly saved your life and made it possible for you to help those involved in the accident !
In every event , the smallest of them , ( not just big ones like missing a flight etc ) there is a purpose which we must learn to recognise and immediately we can think clearly .
